The Delhi riot gunman who was reported missing since the day he had pointed a pistol at a constable, was arrested from Bareilly Uttar Pradesh.
Shahrukh was arrested by Delhi Police Crime Branch from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, said Delhi Police spokesperson. Delhi Police is yet to brief the media about the details of the arrest of Shahrukh.
The gunman and his family had gone missing last week when the Delhi Police launched a search operation. Moreover, the 27-year-old was continuously changing locations of his hideouts, but, was able to communicate with his friends through social media accounts.

During the protest on February 24, the image of Shahrukh in a red t-shirt pointing a gun at a cop in Jafrabad had gone viral on social media and TV news channels. He had also fired multiple shots in front of the police officer before running away.
Deepak Dahiya, a policeman at whom Shahrukh had pointed gun: I saw him running towards me, I tried to scare him by showing my stick. He got distracted and fired 1 round of bullets towards the opposite road and fled from there.
An officer in the higher ranks of the Delhi police department revealed that that the father of the gunman Shahrukh is a local drug dealer and has been detained several times for his actions. Moreover, the Shahrukh is assumed to be a relative of criminal Irfan Urf Chhenu Pehalwan, who is already in prison.
