The exit polls forecasted the number of seats different parties hoped to win in the 70-member Delhi assembly. Considering the results, the above stats might have brought a breather to the Kejriwal followers as they may enjoy another 5-year term.

The contest is between the trio Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharathiya Janatha Party (BJP) and the Congress. For a couple of months, the nation’s capital was in full-wave with different manifestos and agendas been put on the table to impress the voters.

Talking about the seats fought by each party, AAP is contesting on all 70 Assembly constituencies, the Congresscovered on 66 seats. Whereas, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is contesting from 67 seats.

Interestingly, the Bihar’s own Lalu Prasad Yadav-led Rashtriya (RJD), in alliance with the Congress and, is contesting on four seats.

Coming with the NDA alliance, the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and Janata Dal (United) are in with BJP. The BJP has set aside two seats for JDU and one for LJP.

At sharp 6 pm, the voter turnout was recorded at 54.67% percent.
