Thursday amid protest Delhi students bestowed the act of ‘phool aur kaante’ (roses and thorns) with the police. In the biggest turn of the event, protesters were spotted offering a red rose to police constables as a gesture of peace after the violent conflict.
Offering flowers to the police
One such photo went viral on social media, clicked in Delhi, reveals people bowing on the ground with red roses in hand, giving them to police personnel. This incident took place just days after a protest by students of Jamia Millia Islamia university which witnessed huge violence in the nation’s capital.

That was not it, the Delhi Police also should a good gesture as they offered foods to detained protesters at Surajmal Stadium and Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Bawana.
