Amit Shah Flagged off Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express
Home minister Amit Shah on Thursday flagged off the Delhi-Katra Vande Bharath Express from New Delhi Railway station along with the Union Minister Piyush Goyal. He said it is the biggest gift for the people of Jammu and Kashmir as it will be the most developed state in the future. Shah said that Article 370 of the constitution was the biggest barrier in the state that caused trouble for its development in the region. He said that within 10 years it will be one of the most developed regions of the country.
“Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express is a big gift for Jammu and Kashmir’s development and for promoting religious tourism. Article 370 was the biggest roadblock in Jammu and Kashmir’s development. Within 10 years, it will be one of the most developed regions,” Shah said.
At the launch event of the Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express, Union minister Piyush Goyal said the Railways will connect the country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari before 15th August 2022.
