Railway Platform Singer Turned Celebrity Ranu Mondal May Sing At Yuva Dasara

A street singer to a celebrity or we can call it as rags to riches. The 59-year-old singer Ranu Maria Mondal wouldn’t have ever dreamt of having such jubilation at the last stage of her life. She came into the spotlight when she was spotted singing in a railway station which was then recognized by Himesh Reshammiya who also offered a song for his album music. The singer who earned fame within days has now been invited to be a part of this year’s Yuva Dasara.

‘Teri Meri Kahani’ was her popular song composed by Himesh Reshammiya which got popular a month ago. Well, the train station singer turned celebrity Ranu Maria Mondal has now been given fresh invitation by Mysur Yuva Dasara Sub-Committee to perform in the grandest event of this years Dasara. According to a report, the singer District Administration and Yuva Dasara Sub-Committee have extended an invitation to Ranu Mondal on Thursday, which is yet to be confirmed.

However, it is still not confirmed whether the singer would attend the event or not as she has a jam-packed schedule for Durga Puja events in West Bengal.

Above all, the Yuva Dasara event hs promised a Bollywood and Sandalwood music bash which will be filled with singers. Maharaja College will witness Punjabi pop sensation Guru Randhawa, Singer and composer Mohit Chauhan, Kannada Rapper Chandan Shetty, Singer Monali Thakur, and Sanjith Hegde.

The event also confirms a round of Kannada film stars burning the stage on fire. However, it is said that the Yuva Dasara Sub Committee is yet to finalize the artists for the final day. The report added that the officials are in touch with Bollywood composer Pritham, who is yet to confirm his participation.
