Pakistan fans are breaking the internet with something special that had earned them respect all over the world. On Wednesday during Pakistan’s clash against New Zeland, which the Asian side won by six wickets, several Pakistani fans stayed back after the match and were seen collecting trash from the Edgbaston stands.

During the entire World Cup Campaign, Pakistan cricket fans have been one of the prime targets for trolls and memes. But this time they are earning themselves appreciations all over social media for their good gesture. The fans were seen picking up the plastic bottles and other waste materials after the Men in Green won the game. Usually, the fans rush to the streets to celebrate their victory but this was quite a heart-warming gesture by a few of them who stayed back. The video of the act was shared on social media and was applauded by a majority of the netizens.
This video started making rounds on the internet, people tweeted and applauded the Pakistani fans’ gesture as they were setting an example for the rest of the fans. In the past, some Pakistan fans may have brought a bad name to the nation by abusing and heavily criticizing the players but the sportsman spirit showed by a majority has set them apart from supporters of the other nine teams.
