British Herald, a leading British magazine has declared the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the most powerful person 2019. In the reader’s poll that closed a few days ago, PM Modi received 30.9% of the votes and defeated many prominent world leaders and politicians including the US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Evaluation Based On Extensive Research & Study
The magazine nominated more than 25 world leaders in the reader’s poll. Out of them, four people were selected for the last round by a panel of experts. The selection process was conducted on the basis of extensive study and research on all the candidates who were nominated for the polls. The readers voted through a mandatory one-time password (OTP) process to ensure that their vote is valid.
Modi was followed by Putin with 29.9% and Trump with 21.9% of votes. Xi Jinping earned only 18.1% of the votes. The 15th July 2019 issue of the British Herald magazine will feature PM Modi on the cover page. Jacinda Ardern adorned the cover page of the magazine of the May-June issue whereas Vladimir Putin featured on the cover page in Mar-April issue.
