Sweet House Workers At Mumbai Prepare 3000 KG Laddoos Anticipating Modi’s Win In LS Elections 2019

Narendra Modi

Most of the exit polls in India predicted a clear mandate for the BJP-led coalition of NDA with Narendra Modi becoming the prime minister for the second term in succession. The BJP party is happy and anticipating a massive win in the current Lok Sabha Elections 2019.  Some of the party members have even started the preparations for celebrating the win.

A sweet house in Mumbai has started preparing laddoos of 3000 kg to celebrate the win. Importantly all the workers are wearing a paper face mask of Narendra Modi while rolling out the laddoos.

Gopal Shetty Ordered Ladoos To Celebrate Party Win

Gopal Shetty is a BJP candidate from North Mumbai for the elections. After the exit polls, he believes that his party is poised to win the elections. Hence he ordered these 3000 kg laddoos to celebrate the win. He has given the order to Ambika Food Products in Borivali, Mumbai for preparing laddoos of 1500 – 3000 kg for May 23 celebration.

Even the workers at the sweet shop are quite happy with Modi’s possible win and hence have donned the paper mask of Modiji while at work. Incidentally, these workers themselves bought these masks.

Party Workers Busy Overseeing Preparations

Almost all the exit polls predicted another term for Narendra Modi. That is why the party workers at the headquarters of BJP were quite excited and confident of getting another massive win in this year’s general assembly elections. Some of the workers have been given off because almost all of them have really slogged tirelessly during the campaigning.

On the other hand, some workers have already started preparing for the win and are overseeing the preparations. According to the media cell of BJP, Jitendra Rawat, “Our entire focus had shifted to elections and the leaves of every one were canceled. We were working 24X7 during the election time and we’re confident that we will breach the 300 marks.”

A BJP worker from Punjab, Sameer Chhabra who is currently in Delhi for some work eagerly wants to return to his hometown to celebrate the party’s win on May 23. The owners of Mansa shop in Punjab said, “Five generations of my family have been associated with the party. My great-grandfather was associated with Jan Sangh, while my aunts worked for the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti.”

He further added, “My wife was from a family of traditional Congress voters and after our marriage, I sent her to a camp of the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti and within 15 days she understood what the philosophy of Sangh and the BJP meant. Now she is a BJP supporter and even my in-laws have shifted their allegiance to the BJP.”

Chhabra said, “We used to convince traditional Congress voters by telling them that the grand old party was formed with an agenda to overthrow the British government, but now it is only a party of familyism. But in the BJP, we do not know who will be the party chief after Amit Shah. Every worker here can become a Modi or Shah.”

Strong IT And Media Cell Helped BJP

Over the last few years, BJP has developed a strong IT and media cell which played a crucial role in this year’s elections for the party. They started preparing for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 one year after their win in 2014.

One of the party workers, Krishna Chand Bansal said, “Even the exit polls take data from us. We are on ShareChat and have one lakh posts there and in the future, it might be the biggest social media platform. We knew that Facebook and Twitter will have a role to play during these polls, but they have reached a saturation level. This time, WhatsApp was the major game changer.”

The 63-year-old party worker further added, “We have formed about two lakh WhatsApp groups in the last six months across India with 256 members each. We used to disseminate information through these groups. Our campaign involved highlighting the achievements of the government, attacking the opposition, establishing an emotional connect with people.”
