The winners of the 68th National Film Awards have been announced. Check who won the top honors in feature and non-feature film categories.
2020 National Film Awards
It is that time of the year when we hear about the finest of films, actors, technicians, and everyone involved in the filmmaking process – the National Film Awards. 10 jury members headed by filmmaker Vipul Shah submitted the report related to the 2020 National Film Awards to I&B Minister Anurag Thakur earlier.
The main categories are Feature Films, Non-Feature Films, Best Writing on Cinema, and the Most Film-Friendly State. Below is the list of winners for the National Awards as announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Soorarai Pottru won three of the four biggest awards of the night, while Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior also took home major trophies.
Ajay Devgn says he is ‘elated’ on winning his third national award for best actor. In a statement, the actor said, “I’m elated to win the Best Actor Award for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior at the 68th National Awards along with Suriya, who won for Soorarai Pottru. I thank everyone, most of all my creative team, the audience, and my fans. I also express my gratitude to my parents & the Almighty for their blessings. Congratulations to all the other winners.”
