The most controversial show in the country, Koffee With Karan hosted by Karan Johar has come c=under scrutiny every time it has aired.
The show is often termed as guilty pleasures has seen various stars giving controversial statements that has gone onto effect their individual life. Alia Bhatt’s first experience on the show made her the butt of the jokes across social media. Most recently, Hardik Pandya was fined by the cricket board for his behavior and statements on the show.

In the episode with Anushka Sharma, when Karan tried to convey that Arjun Kapoor has feelings for her, Anushka Sharma replied,

Kangana Ranaut
Probably the most-watched Koffee With Karan where the whole nepotism debate first began. Actress Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan were on the episode as Kangana took on all the attention by labeling Karan as a torchbearer of nepotism and accused him of running a movie mafia. In the rapid-fire, when Karan asked her if she would rather find true love and be poor and be rich and single, she replied,
“Your idea of poverty is very different from my idea of poverty.”
Konkona Sen Sharma
When Konkona was asked to name the most overrated actor in Bollywood, she didn’t hesitate for a moment and said,
“Karan in DDLJ.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan
In an episode, Kareena Kapoor Khan roasted him by saying,
“Karan, you’re doing every ad, every TV show on every channel. My mother says I put on the TV and Karan Johar shows up everywhere.”
Farah Khan
In an episode, when Karan asked Farah about her sex life, she asked everyone to stand up and observe a moment of silence. When KJO asked if it is for her sex life, she replied to him,

Mira took a dig at Karan on his own show. Mira asked Karan to rank in order of talent and named all the actors except Shahid Kapoor to which Shahid asked why is he not on the list. Mira, in a savage sense, replied,

When Karan asked Kajol to name the celebrities who need a crash course in acting, Kajol was swift in taking the name of Karan himself.

When Karan asked his best friend Twinkle about the meanest comment anyone has said on her writing, she said,
“When you started writing columns, they said KJO is the new Mrs. Funnybones. I didn’t want my standards to go so down.”
