After the thumping success of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, the demand for larger-scale cinema has skyrocketed. One such magnum project in the offing in this regard is Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, a high-octane action entertainer that is set the silver screens on fire later this year.
Rocky in Salaar
Apart from Prabhas, the film features Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The film is directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel and is scheduled to release on 28th September 2023.
Neel and his entire team have managed to keep all the key information regarding Salaar under wraps so far but not all things can be kept secret for too long. Now the latest report around the action thriller suggests that Yash will share the screen with the Radhe Shyam actor.
“The movie is currently under production and Prithviraj Sukumaran has already joined the filming but Yash didn’t join the crew yet. He is expected to start shooting when the team will shoot in European locations. As per reports Prabhas and Yash have a powerful action scene in Europe. The action thriller will see a twist when Rocky bhai will meet Salaar in Europe,” reported Bollywood Life.
“Yash will feature in a spin-off of his character from the KGF franchise. While Prabhas is said to appear in the most violent avatar in his upcoming movie. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers about Yash and Prabhas’ scene in Salaar which is a gangster drama,” the publication added.
Both actors in Europe
This speculation became true after both actors were spotted taking Europe trips simultaneously. Prabhas was caught on camera at the Hyderabad airport and many believe that he was returning from Italy at the time.

On the other side, Rocking Star Yash was also in Europe for a “supposed” family holiday. He could be strategically stationed close to the shooting spot of Salaar.

Nevertheless, the latest happenings do suggest that the shooting of Salaar is nearing its completion and one can expect a crucial update to be around the corner. Shruti Haasan, who plays the female lead, has already completed shooting for her portions and Prithviraj Sukumaran is likely to wrap things up at the earliest.
