The Great Wall Might Be A Great Decision

During the question-answer session, the former Indian skipper and BCCI chief said that the last time Dravid was asked about becoming the head coach of the team, he had said that he wasn’t interested in the permanent role. Dravid Will Mentor The Youngsters

Dravid is the head coach of the India U-19 and the India A squad before taking command of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru back in 2019. He is also often credited as the man who was behind structuring such a deep talent pool of young Indian cricketers that ensured a continuous supply for world-class athletes in the last 5 years and will continue to do so for at least 5 years more.

At the moment it’s also a point of discussion as to why Dhoni is appointed as the mentor for the senior team in the presence of head coach Shastri. Well, it would be a great combo when the legends will be together guiding the team however, it also hints towards grooming Dhoni to secure the spot in the upcoming years. Whether it be Dhoni or Dravid one thing is for sure… Great days for Indian cricket is yet to come!
