Peacocks have always been seen as a constant companion at the Prime Minister’s residence. In some of the visuals in the video, the Prime Minister is also seen feeding peahen as other peacocks wander around the garden while the Prime Minister is performing his morning routine exercise. According to some officials, the Prime Minister has installed elevated structures that are found in rural India that would help birds make their nests at his residence.

Even in his two books – Convenient Action: Gujarat’s Response to Challenges of Climate Change and Convenient Action Continuity for Change – the Prime Minister has highlighted his vision for the betterment of our environment. He also launched the International Solar Alliance to harness solar energy for the future.

Earlier last year, the Prime Minister appeared on the famous show ‘Man vs Wild’ where he stressed the ethos of living in harmony. The show had him walking and taking a ride in a boat at the National Park in Uttarakhand. As the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi had ensured that the state became the first in India to have a dedicated department to address the issues of Climate Change.
