Director Lokesh Kanagaraj already created a cinematic universe (LCU) with his previous hit films ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram’. The maker is also initiating ‘Kaithi 2’ in 2023. On the other hand, the heavy discussion among the fans is whether ‘Thalapathy 67’ is a part of the LCU. Recently, actor Narain, who was part of Kaithi and Vikram, hinted at whether T67 is joining the LCU.
Vijay joining the LCU
This is probably the most awaited confirmation for Thalapathy Vijay’s fans. Thalapthy 67 movie, which is to be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is said to be part of LCU(Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe in which Kaithi, Vikram, etc. are included). This news is exciting since Vijay fans were asking for it since Vikram became a massive success.
While interacting with Indiaglitz Malayalam, actor Narain was asked to share something about Thalapathy 67. The popular actor answered, “Am not there in Thalapathy 67. That’s what I know. If I come, the universe will change.” Going by his words, Narain hints Lokesh Kanagaraj is possibly creating a new universe with Thalapathy 67 while Vikram and Kaithi are in a different segment. But we have to wait for an official confirmation.

Vijay fans are excited
Since this, Vijay fans are excited and can’t wait to see their favorite actor be part of this prestigious universe which has Kamal Haasan, Suriya, and Karthi in significant roles.
Though Vijay worked with Lokesh Kanagaraj earlier, the movie Master wasn’t included in LCU. Vijay fans got a bit disappointed with that after realizing the value of it through the industry hit Vikram.
Rumors also say that Kamal may be indirectly involved in this project, as the film may be produced with the Raj Kamal film banner(RKFI). Another big banner called Seven screens is set to be part of the LCU project.
Sources also claimed that Vikram or Rolex would be an element of this action thriller. It would be an eye feast to see Vijay share the screen with Surya or Kamal Haasan.
For now, Vijay is working on his upcoming film ‘Varisu’ and the star is expected to start shooting for ‘Thalapathy 67’ after that.
