In case you were one of the many who faced hardships during this phase and are looking to get back on the horse, Google has a tool to help you streamline this process.

Google has announced the Kormo Jobs app which is like a one-stop portal for jobs on several job websites like Monster, Naukri, Shine, etc. The Google Kormo Jobs app simply collates all jobs in a particular category for the applicant to easily browse through opportunities.

The Kormo app has an in-built CV feature where you can enter all necessary information and share it with employers. Additionally, it also has a smart calendar feature that will remind you about job interview dates and timing. It also allows access to conduct video interviews from home if the employer has that option available.

In case you’re wondering that Google has already done something like this in the past, you’re not wrong. Last year it introduced a way to apply for jobs from the Google Pay app. The app allowed users to apply for fresher positions. However, with Kormo, it takes it to a broader level with more experienced roles on offer. The app has already been launched in Bangladesh and Indonesia before making its way to India.

How To Search Jobs On Google Kormo App

The app is fairly simple and straightforward to use. When you install the app from the Play Store and open it for the first time, it will ask you to sign in using your Gmail account. After signing in, it will ask you the field of job you’re interested in, and then it will ask your preferred job location. After that, you’re pretty much good to go.

Additionally, you have an option of uploading a PDF of your resume, in case you want to send that to potential employers. In case you don’t have a resume handy, you can enter your education and experience details in the app which Kormo will share with your potential employers when you apply for a particular job.
