Indiranagar, one of the Bengaluru’s newer areas is a noted residential and commercial hub of the city. Mainly dotted with pubs, hotel chains, and shopping centres, Indiranagar is a cosmopolitan locality with an influx of migrants from around the country. Started as a BDA layout in the late 1970s and followed by rapid IT revolution in 1990s, this locality along with its two arterial roads (100 Feet Road and Chinmaya Mission Hospital Road) took the color of mercantile and the exclusivity. Blistering Barnacles is a Tintin / Captain Haddock themed pub which is a quite decent place to hang out with your friends. Blessed with rooftop ambiance, you will enjoy their Beef Chilly, Strawberry Mojito, Chilly roasted pork and other Non-Veg dishes. Great music, colorful ambiance, and an affordable menu – Blistering Barnacles is definitely a must-visit in Indiranagar.

As we have heard, Madurai Idly Shop is one of the regular visits for the residents of Indiranagar – a part of daily routine. It is a traditional South-Indian restaurant where you can savor the taste of home-made breakfast. Few of the must-try items are Podi Dose, Pongal, Kesari Bath and piping hot Mini Idlis.

Coorg – The Restaurant
Feel at Coorg and feel at home. Located in Indiranagar, this Coorg restaurant is one of the most loved pork destination in the city. A pretty quaint, and cozy place with a Coorgi style of decor. You’ll love the pictures displayed depicting the culture of Coorg and their amazing rooftop ambiance. If you want to taste the best pork in the city then simply head to this restaurant tucked inside a lane, opposite to Toit.

Toit is a place where you can get the best beer in the city; easily one of the most loved pubs in Bangalore. As a compliment, food is equally good with a distinct flavor. Toit brews its own beer and the entire ambiance of it gives you a feel of the European club. Coming to beer, they have varieties of draft beer, and a few like the banana draft, rice draft are highly-rated among the Toit’s specials. (I’m keeping it short cause anything more or anything less can never give you a clear picture of Toit. One must go and experience).

If you are a hardcore Vegetarian and looking to explore Rajasthani food then come to this Rajadhani Thali restaurant. Dal Bhati Churma, Dhokla, Khichdi, Mango Lassi and Kadi are our favorite and you can also try their Thaali and Dahi Vada which tastes amazingly good.
