Pubs and breweries have always been a part of Bengaluru life. The young crowd cut in on IT executives, bankers, and people from other parts of the country are the ambassadors of pub culture in the city, and no doubt, today Bengaluru is the city with the highest number of pubs and the most sought-after destination for late night hippies. The pub is not a bar, not a restaurant, not a dance club but a mix of all.
There is a whole set of audience who are crazy about going to pubs and so is the hype about it. From the quirky little pubs to the super cool cocktail bars, the city is blessed with more than 3000 pubs. Well, we’ve listed a few of them and probably the best Pubs in Bangalore. Check ‘em out; you may include this in your list of Things to do in Bangalore.
Must-Visit Pubs in Bangalore
Toit is a place where you can get the best beer in the city; easily one of the most loved pubs in Bangalore. As a compliment, food is equally good with a distinct flavor. Toit brews its own beer and the entire ambiance of it gives you a feel of the European club. Coming to beer, they have varieties of draft beer, and a few like the banana draft, rice draft are highly-rated among the Toit’s specials. (I’m keeping it short cause anything more or anything less can never give you a clear picture of Toit. One must go and experience).

Church Street Social
We just loved this place. It has a jail theme with brick walls and chain hangings in the corners, which looked quirky and unusual. A perfect place made for Saturday evenings with great music, active crowd, and all the rejuvenating pub things. We ordered moonshine, nachos, and chicken wings which are the hot favorites of church street social. You can also have Chinese combo mix, Schezuan chicken china box, and of course, Nachos.

Where: 46/1, Cobalt Building, Church Street | Koramangala 7th Block and Phoenix market city mall, Whitefield.
This is one of the highly rated pubs featured on all the food-related websites. Big Brewsky’s ambiance will definitely take you to another world with a pool in the middle, fishes roaming around, lights, and the DJ Live music in a nutshell; you’ll be stunned. There is an open terrace, inside & outside bars, and all the things that have to be there in a perfect pub.
Coming to drinks, you must try their cocktails like ‘great pretender’, LITs, and not to forget, the freshly brewed craft beer. Mocktails, Bacon wrapped chicken, chicken tikka, and island ice teas are few of the must-have items in Big Brewsky.
Open: 12:30 PM – 1 AM
Where: Behind MK Retail, Before Wipro Corporate Office, Sarjapur Road.
This is a place where you can enjoy great music and live performances by artists of all genres from across the globe. DJ is one thing but equally awesome food and beer will add to all the craziness. Decorated with rusty and woody ambiance, Loft 38 is for people who love noise and like to be in the crowd.

This is one of the finest microbreweries we have in the city made for classic brews and fine dining. If you are looking for a place for conversations, and peppy talks then this is it. Quite a low profile, picturesque with a laid-back ambiance is a place made for music lovers, of any sort and any genre.

If you are in Koramangala and nearby areas then you should make to this place. A bar accompanied by DJ with great music will never fall heavy on your pockets. The ambiance is light-hearted which eventually lifts up your mood. Order their signature cocktail and simply head to dance floor, and enjoy.

Pecos Bar is another place which is a classic yet gorgeously made venue to spend your evening. You can go crazy here and the ambiance will make you so. It was started way back in 1989 and today it is one of the iconic retro rock pubs of the city. You have all the amenities that you expect in a pub but one thing that I caught my attention is the amazing wall posters. The Pecos has the most creative artistic works created by local Bangalore artists. Again, ‘a must visit place’ of Bangalore.

Monkey bar is one of the famous bars in the city located in the bustling streets of Indiranagar. The most happening place filled with a lot of urban vibes. You should try their cocktails section, Mandro-Villa-mandarin-flavored vodka, vanilla liqueur, King Kong Vanilla Vodka, and Butter Chicken Kichdi.

This is something which I cannot forget to mention especially for Beer lovers out there. This is not a microbrewery; it is more about the brew. They have a full bar and if you take my opinion, then you should try straight drinks like Vodka than cocktails. They have an amazing food and if you feel substantial, they even have Egg Bhurji Pav or Samosa Pav.

If you are a Beer lover and if you haven’t visited this place in Bengaluru then please go. They brew lager, ale, stout, wheat, and season’s specials. The Biere club’s decor, quaint ambiance and constantly changing beer menu will definitely set your mood and it is all about being vibrant, right? Nachos here are yummy and Kebabs and Pizzas are equally good. In appetizers, you have Prawn popcorn, Moroccan Spiced Chicken, and Assorted Fries with Harissa Mayo. Take my words, attack this place with your gang of friends and believe me, you will have the best of the best weekends of your life.
