The encounter between Bihar police and Mumbai police continue in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
Speaking with Mid-Day, one of the Bihar police officer Qaisar Alam has revealed that Mumbai police are protecting Rhea Chakraborty. Previously, Bihar police had claimed that Rhea Chakraborty has been missing from her residence. The officer, however, refused to disclose his location in his fear of BMC who might be on the lookout for him and other cops. He further said,
“We were sent to Mumbai to arrest her but the cops are protecting her. Our senior IPS officer Tiwari was forcefully quarantined the same day he landed in Mumbai.”
Meanwhile, the Deputy General of Police Pandey launched a severe attack on the Mumbai police. He said,
“There is no transparency in the investigation by the Mumbai police in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. We had written a letter to the BMC commissioner requesting him to move Tiwari out of home quarantine because according to the rule. But the BMC has turned down our request.”
Allegations Of Rhea Blackmailing Sushant
In another development, there are reports that Rhea Chakraborty had apparently blackmailed Sushant Singh Rajput when he drove down to Chandigarh to meet his sister. A source close to the development said,
“When Sushant went to Chandigarh to meet his sister Rani by car between 20 and 24 January 2020, Rhea made about 25 calls to him in 5 days.”
Rhea allegedly blackmailed Sushant and asked him to stay. Sushant had to later call his family asking for help. In the call, Sushant apparently revealed that Rhea and her family were looking to send him to a mental hospital while he didn’t want to go.
