After delivering the highest Hollywood grosser ever, ‘Avatar’ (2009), James Cameron is back as the helmer of the 3 hours saga, and as expected, has yet again ticked all boxes. Film critic Anupama Chopra says, ‘Even after 13 years, James Cameron does not give you a choice.’
The Way of Water
Thirteen years after its first film was released, ‘Avatar: the Way of Water’ has hit the screens. After delivering the highest Hollywood grosser ever, ‘Avatar’ (2009), James Cameron is back as the director of the 3 hours saga, and as expected, has blown away people’s minds.
The movie’s length might at first seem a bit lengthy, but once you have settled into the fascinatingly detailed imaginary world where the action unfolds there is zero risk of boredom or monotony setting in. Probably, that’s what film critic Anupama Chopra thinks. She says, “the sequel arrived 13 years after the first film, no matter how much of a blockbuster the first film was, the question is: do we still care? James Cameron doesn’t give us a choice.”
Anupama’s Avatar 2 Review
“You will get lost in the wonder of marine life. Tentacle creatures of every kind and every size fill the frame. It is dazzling but you must have patience. The three-half masterpiece has James Cameron’s masterful orchestration. It’s so stunning that it will take you a few minutes to adjust to your own reality when you exit that theater,” says Anupama in her latest Film Companion video.
