In the Tamil film industry, the duo has given three box office successes with each other till now and is yet to deliver a flop. They both are always in demand by Kollywood fans, and it seems that their wish is soon going to come true. As per the latest updates, Vijay and Atlee are all set to come together for a Pan-India film.
For the unversed, Vijay and Atlee have worked together on Theri, Mersal, and Bigil and all of them were massive box office successes. With such a track record, the Tamil superstar and the hit director once again would reunite to deliver another mass entertainer.
Pan-India film
According to Track Tollywood, Thalapathy Vijay and Atlee are in talks for a pan-India film, which is said to be their biggest ever film. For now, the film’s budget is kept somewhere around 300 crores. Yes, you read that right! It’s almost three times the cost of Kamal Haasan‘s Vikram, which was reportedly made at 110 crores. It is also learned that the film will be produced by Thendal Studios. Therefore, it will easily be one of the most expensive films to come out in the Tamil Film Industry.
On the work front, Atlee is busy with Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay will be soon completing the shoot of Varisu, and post that, he’ll start his work on Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next. After these two movies, the actor is expected to reunite with the Mersal director to mark their biggest film ever. It is expected to go on floors in the latter half of 2023.
