In a new twist in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, one of the actor’s friend has revealed that he had a romantic relationship with actress Sara Ali Khan and they also broke up. In a new revelation, the friend has expressed a detailed account of the relationship between the two.
Samuel Haokip, Sushant’s friend, spoke to ETimes in a long interview where he revealed certain details about the relationship between Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput. Talking about their relationship, he said,
“During my time, Sara and Sushant had broken up, and then Rhea had come in his life. So I always felt that he shared a slightly better bond with Sara. They used to share poetry with each other and seeing them together felt like watching a movie. Even when both of them were trying to have fun together or flirt with each other, they were very respectful to one another as they knew that there were people around them.”
Samuel Haokip stayed with Sushant from October 2018 to July 2019. During the time, they seemed to have shared a friendly relation and hang out in gyms, in shoots, and also travel in the same car.
Kartik Aryan Connection
On the Koffee With Karan show, Sara Ali Khan admitted that she wanted to date Kartik Aryan. Many believed that to be a publicity stunt for their film Love Aaj Kal which released in February 2020. Apparently, Sushant Singh Rajput unfollowed Sara Ali Khan on Instagram in March 2019. Sushant also had deleted all the posts of his on the photo-sharing application and even changed his bio from ‘Not here right now’ to ‘Sufficient cause’. Samuel Haokip revealed that,
“I remember the time during Kedarnath promotions. Sushant and Sara were totally in love, they were inseparable..so pure and child-like innocence. They both had tremendous respect for each other which was so rare to see nowadays in relationships. Sara along with Sushant had genuine respect for everyone in Sushant’s life.. be it family, friends, and even staff. I wonder whether Sara’s decision to break up with Sushant was right after Sonchiriya’s box office was due to any pressure by the Bollywood Mafia.”
