Singer Kanika Kapoor, who is popular for her hit songs like ‘Baby Doll’ and ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’ tested positive again in her third test for COVID-19 conducted on Tuesday.
Reported positive for 3rd time
Her treatment has been going on in Lucknow’s Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. It was reported that the treatment will continue until at least two tests show her negative.
According to the sources, SGPGIMS Director Prof RK Dhiman said that the singer continues to test positive for the coronavirus and as per the exercises her treatment will continue.
Meanwhile, her friend, who had been considered missing after coming in contact with the singer at a party, was tested negative. Till now, everyone who interacted with her post her return from London, have tested negative for the virus.
Legal actions against her
The trouble never ended here, as legal action has also been initiated against Kanika Kapoor. An FIR was lodged by Lucknow’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Narendra Kumar Agarwal against the singer at the Sarojini Nagar Police Station, under Sections 188, 269, and 270 of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the Lucknow police, two more FIRs were registered against Kanika Kapoor at Hazratganj Police Station and at Gomti Nagar Police Station for negligence.
Earlier it was reported that the singer has failed to co-operate with doctors. Despite giving her the single isolated best room in the hospital, she is throwing tantrums, said a doctor from SGPGIMS.
