The fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel to the superhit ‘Pushpa’. However, the bad news is that the Allu Arjun starrer will only be released in 2024.
Release date of Pushpa 2
Allu Arjun is all set to shine on the silver screen again with the upcoming film Pushpa: The Rise, which is the second installment of his blockbuster film. The first part of the film broke reasonable records at the box office and emerged as the biggest hit of the year. Following its stunning success, the makers have come up with its second part and the release date is going to be 2024.
Yes, you read it right. Recent reports indicate that the second part of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ will take longer than expected. According to sources, the delay in production is due to the makers, who want to make the second part ‘bigger and better’ than the 2021 blockbuster.
“Sukumar’s perfection will make more delays in the film’s release. He doesn’t want to rush to complete the shoot and hence, the makers, for now, have decided to release ‘Pushpa 2’ somewhere in March-April 2024,” the source revealed.
Shooting is to begin in December
According to Pinkvilla, the shooting for the film may begin in December.
“Sukumar is leaving no stone unturned to make sure ‘Pushpa 2’ also becomes bigger and better than ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. He has planned a lot of test shoots in Bangkok and other places and once he is satisfied with the output, he will go ahead with the final shoot which is likely to begin in the first week of December,” the source added.
This comes at a time when fans across the world have been asking the makers to share an update on Pushpa 2. Also, a post on Twitter revealed the name of films that are supposed to release in 2023, however, Pushpa 2 is nowhere to be found.

Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa is an Indian Telugu-language action drama that depicted the rise of a coolie in the smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media, the film features Allu Arjun as the supposed character alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
