The upcoming weekend on 26 and 27 January this year is going to be quite a fun for those who are always looking for some thrill during their holidays. Incidentally, this year the Republic Day celebrations will be extended further as the next day is Sunday, much to the joy of adventurous Indians. With the entire country gearing up to celebrate India’s Big Day, bikers can take this opportunity to wear their pride and ride on this Republic Day by registering for Road Thrill Bengaluru.

Road Thrill Bengaluru 2019

This weekend, bikers have the opportunity to participate in the “Republic Day Ride on Jan 26th” organized by Road Thrill Bengaluru. All riders will welcome the day with tri-colors flying high. The ride will head on the Hassan Road and move towards the iconic Venugopal Swami temple.

The ride will start from Parle Toll on Tumkur Road at 7 AM. Riders will have to gather at the spot half an hour before that during which period they will receive ride briefing. Once the ride has been flagged off it will move towards Reach Govt. School (Bommanahalli) which is at a distance of 90 km from the starting point.

Here the ceremony of flag hoisting will take place after which the volunteers will distribute books and sketch pens to the students in the school. It will be followed by a breakfast break at Hotel Mayura, just 1 km from the school and distribution of badges and stickers.

Members and friends will disperse from Nelmangala Toll, 90 km from the breakfast point while the riders continue their journey towards Venugopal Swami Temple. The expected return time is 6 pm. Entry is absolutely free and you can get more details by calling 9164663838.

Night Trekking And Cycling

Apart from the Road Thrill Bengaluru ride, you can also choose other options such as trekking and cycling. Long cycle rides give you the thrill of adventure. Nelamangala Century Riding is organizing Republic Day special cycle ride during which the participants will have to ride 100 km away from Bengaluru. Be sure to carry along your helmet, riding glasses, portable pump, basic tool kit, ID proof, spare tube, puncture kit, and some cash.
