An orthodox film making journey

Unlike many of the aspirants who struggle to decide how they want to dive into filmmaking, Rishab started it out simple by securing a diploma in film direction from Government Film and TV Institute, Bangalore. He then assisted the likes of AMR Ramesh and Arvind Kaushik to finetune his filmmaking skills.

Starring his close friend Rakshit Shetty in the lead, Rishab directed his first movie Rikki in 2016. The movie received praise for its content and technicalities. However, it was the blockbuster success of Kirik Party later that year which catapulted Rishab to the top league.

He followed it up with the hugely impressive SHPS Kasargod which established him as a reliable filmmaker. With Rudraprayag and Katha Sangama coming up, we can surely expect this man to throw us a lot of surprises with his direction.
