A rock concert? A rock concert in Kannada? Yes, you read it right. This is for the first time in the history of the city’s concerts, a Kannada rajyotsava rock concert is happening in Bengaluru. You might have witnessed a lot of concerts but this one is special and up to the minute.
Hemanth Jois and Chethan Naik from the team ‘Naik N the Jois Project’ are all set to rock at the gig happening at Humming Tree, Bengaluru on 4th November 2017. It is said that this will be a houseful show as the event is already sold out on all the primary event booking platforms. There will be 50 tickets reserved for walk-ins if you wish to get in.

Hemanth Jois, a young boy from Koppa (Chikmagalur, Karnataka) is trending today in social media for all good reasons. You might have listened to his albums ‘Tunturu’, ‘Last Semester’ followed by the recent hit ‘Kannalle’. It feels great to see such a heave coming in an independent album music in kananda and the way the self-taught artists are making big in their own arena is incredible.
Hemanth is a proud Kannadiga and a gem personality to associate and work with. He has a band called ‘The Last Semester’ along with his own venture by name ‘The Jois Project’. The story of Hemanth from being an MBA graduate to clearing HDFC regional manager post to become a guitarist and then a music director is an inspiration to many.

Naik N the Jois Project Live
This musical band is the brainchild of Hemanth Jois and Chethan Naik. After being performed together for ‘The Jois Project,’ the duo has renamed their live event band to Naik N The Jois project. Hemath Jois is an award-winning artist with KIMA Best Indie Youth Award 2017 and Shankar Nag Youth Award 2017 to his credits while Chethan Naik has best KIMA best vocalist 2016-17 to his merit. This musical doublet has also had their debut International gig in Texas USA and their recent ‘Huttidare Kannada Naadalli Rock version’ is a perfect testament to their talent and culture.
