Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is set to collaborate with the SS Rajamouli for the filmmaker’s next film. Meanwhile, there are rumors that the RRR director is said to have approached Hollywood actors Chris Hemsworth and Samuel L. Jackson to play an important role in #SSMB29.
Marvels stars in a Telugu film?
SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu have joined hands for the pan-Indian film. And now reports are buzzing that the director is in talks with Hollywood stars who come from the lineage of Marvel’s Avengers.
There are reports that Hollywood stars Chris Hemsworth and Samuel L. Jackson, will be seen in cameo roles in the film.
For the unversed, Chris Hemsworth is quite popular for playing ‘Thor’ in the Marvel line up and he bagged a worldwide fan following with his outstanding acting skills. Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson is also a well-known face in Hollywood and he is quite popular too for playing Nick Fury in the same Marvel Universe. If this news is true, then it would be the biggest project ever made in Tollywood as the craze of the Hollywood actors will surely help Rajamouli’s film reach a wider audience across the world.
American talent management agency
Well, there’s no confirmation news on this but a few days back, there was news that SS Rajamouli has signed with the American talent management agency, CAA and rumors were rife that he might have signed a Hollywood project. However, it seems like he has signed with CAA to work with Hollywood stars as there are speculations that his next film will not only have Chris Hemsworth but other Hollywood actors as well.
Earlier this month, the RRR director talking about SSMB 29, the filmmaker said, “My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots.”
In RRR, SS Rajamouli gave one of the female leads to Olivia Morris and now it seems he has more plans to include Hollywood stars in his films to get a global reach.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu recently began shooting for his 28th project, tentatively titled ‘SSMB 28’. The film is slated to hit theatres across the globe on April 28, 2023.
