Big stars, renowned directors, and big budgets can’t win you a box office collection. This has been proved by a series of failures in Tollywood after the smashing success of ‘RRR’.

Son Of India -Rating: 1.5/5

The movie was released in a total of 350 theatres. After the release, it was called a disaster at the box office. It only collected Rs 18 lakhs worldwide.

Khiladi- Rating: 2.5/5

Khiladi was the first biggie that had come out in the third wave of Covid. But unfortunately, the film failed to impress the audience. The film collected Rs 13.30 crore.

Adavallu Meeku Joharlu- Rating: 3/5

The film starring Sharwa and Rashmika had some decent moments in the film. But overall the film had an age-old story and narration. The film only bagged Rs 7.72 crore at the Box office.

Radhe Shyam- Rating: 2.70/5

The film starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde was criticized for a slow pace. Many complained that the film failed in bringing pain to the love story. The film did collect  Rs 154.90 crore at the Box Office, but one must not forget that the budget of the movie was a whopping Rs 350 crore.

Acharya- Rating: 2.75/5

The movie starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan was directed by Koratala Siva. Despite having huge expectations the movie was released on April 29 to a dull response at the box office. Having a budget of Rs 140 crores, the film, however, collected Rs 40.73 crore.

Hero- Rating: 3/5

Starring Ashok Galla, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Jagapathi Babu, the film’s first half was impressive however, in the second half the movie’s logic goes for a toss as the director only focuses on entertainment. The film only manages to make Rs 34 Crore.

Sebastian P.C. 524- Rating: 2.5/5

Despite having a good story and a well-performing actor, the director failed to bring out the movie in an engaging way. Box office collection Rs 6.7 Crore.

Shekar- Rating: 2.5/5

Rajasekhar had pinned a lot of hopes on his film Shekar however a thriller movie never had what it needed the most, ‘the thrill itself’. Though there is nothing wrong with the story, the screenplay was dull and didn’t entertain the audience. Box Office collection Rs 6.40Cr.

Bhala Tandanana- Rating: 2/5

In an action movie- the story should be engaging, and twisty and moreover, the screenplay should be powerful. That’s where exactly Bhala Thandhanana failed. Box Office collection Rs 70 Lakhs.

Stand Up Rahul- Rating: 2.5/5

The film lacked emotions and the director failed to bring out the true talent of Raj Tarun. Box Office collection Rs 1.67 Crore.
