Puneeth Parva: “I Met Appu When I Was In My Mother’s Womb”- Tamil Actor Suriya

October 29 marks the first death anniversary of Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar and fans and well-wishers have been leaving no stone unturned to celebrate his legacy. Recently, Puneeth’s Fans from across the state gathered recently in Bengaluru and announce that they are organizing a special event to honor Puneeth Rajkumar’s grand legacy, ahead of the first death anniversary. What’s been termed as ‘Puneeth Parva’, the grand event was held on October 21 at 6:30 pm in Bengaluru’s Palace Grounds.

To make the event more special, the Puneeth Parva saw the biggest of South Indian superstars in attendance. Kannada superstars Yash, Sudeep, Daali Dhananjaya, Darling Krishna, and others will be seen participating in the celebration of Puneeth’s legacy and they will be joined by fellow actors such as Suriya, Prabhudeva, Rana Daggubati, Tollywood superstar Balakrishna, veteran actor Kamal Haasan, and several others.

Suriya’s message

Tamil superstar Suriya who attended the event praised Puneeth and his contribution to Indian Cinema. He said, “47 years ago I met him while I was in my mother’s womb. Yes, Puneeth’s mother who was also pregnant at that time met my mother who was in Suhjata Hotel in Mysuru. In that way, we met each other.”

“He is still with us. What I remember about him is he was most friendliest, warmest, humble, and very confident icon. His nature of giving back to society as a charity, formed a universal brotherhood. Because of his character and his spirit, he made all the south Industry people gather in the same place.”

“I have never ever seen the kind of love Puneeth received not only in the Kannada industry but in other respective industries. I guess he is blessed with the gift that he has so many people around him.”

“When I first visited his memorial. After 5 minutes I couldn’t control myself and cried quietly. Before he left us he taught us a lot of things. He taught us how one should live life, what you should leave behind, and what impact life you should have on others,” Suriya concluded.
