As India tries to grapple with the novel coronavirus pandemic, the Islamic State online publication has asked its supporters to use pandemic to attack India.
The Islamic State, in its attempt to push its anti-India propaganda, has used its ‘Voice of Hind’ and has asked its supporters to act as COVID-19 carriers to attack Indians in the midst of the pandemic. As per a report in India Today TV which has accessed two editions of the magazine which were issued during the lockdown in India. The 17-page lockdown special edition of the magazine, they encouraged violence and asked them to kill as many kuffars. It said,
“Keep yourselves armed at all times to never miss a chance to kill as many kuffars as you can. Keep chains, ropes, and wires ready to choke them or beat them to death. Tools like scissors and hammers can come in useful to kill the kuffar.”
Investigation Launched
With this, it has provoked its followers to annihilate the disbelievers. The cover picture of the magazine features the image of the attendees of the Nizamuddin Markaz event and also the picture of the Delhi riots. The magazine also asked Muslims to be the carriers of the deadly coronavirus and spread it to policemen deployed on the streets. It asked them to treat COVID-19 arms against the disbelievers.
The Special Cell of the Delhi Police had earlier busted an Islamic State terror muddle in Delhi by arresting three terror suspects. Ever since then, the Indian agencies have launched a focused crackdown in the state of Kerala and Karnataka. The United Nations in their report also warned India of future attacks. The report said,
“One member state reported that the ISIL affiliate (Hind Wilayah), which was announced on May 10, 2019, has between 180 and 200 members.”
