The 17th Day of Box-Office collection for KGF Chapter 1 is out and the movie seems to be unstoppable. This Yash starrer Kannada movie has proved itself to be one of the most notable movies of 2018. Not just as a Kannada cinema, today it is seen as the Indian cinema owing to its commendable success in the box-office. After surpassing Shahrukh Khan’s Zero, KGF has successfully withstood the competition from Ranveer Singh’s Simmba. As per the reports, the movie’s collection is inching towards a record-breaking ‘200 Mark’.
Rs.198.5 Crore at the box-office
KGF has become the first Kannada movie to make Rs.100 crore but now, it is a thing of past. On the 17th day, this Prashanth Neel’s directorial made Rs.198.5 crore at the box-office with a net collection of Rs.160.5 crore. It is its third week. Forget about Zero, KGF is going as strong as Simba which is said to be one of the biggest Bollywood films of the year.

Is it the Last Week for KGF?
Box-office experts believe and predict that the third week might be the last week for KGF Chapter 1. This has come in context to the line-to-line releases of Big-Star South Indian movies. There is Rajnikanth’s Petta, Balakrishna’s NTR Kathanayakudu, and Ram Charan’s Vinaya Videhya Rama ready for release ahead of Sankranti / Pongal.
Currently, KGF Chapter 1 is seen as the fourth highest grossing release of South Indian Cinema. Having said that, it still has to overtake Rajamouli’s Bahubali movies and Shankar’s 2.0 (Source)

The Hindi version of KGF has done a very good business right from its day of release. As per the reports, it made Rs.21.45 crore in Week 1, Rs.11.50 crore in Week 2, and Rs.4.25 crore in Week 3 totaling to Rs.37.20 crore.
