Nikhil and Revathi got married on April 17th

Although Nikhil and Revathi’s marriage was scheduled to happen earlier, the date got postponed due to the lockdown in the country. However, on April 17th, after obtaining several permissions from the state government, the marriage was conducted at a resort in Bidadi of Ramanagara District.

Though the event was dubbed as a ‘low-key’ affair, a few photographs from the ceremony proved that the regular social-distancing norms were not followed by the guests, and the family.

Also, close to 100 vehicles were allowed to move in the Bidadi region despite the lockdown. HD Kumaraswamy had asked all the guests to arrive with masks, but as per reports, none of them followed the request.

After the wedding too, HDK defended the decision to conduct the marriage, saying that a few doctors were present at the event and each guest was screened before entering the premises.
