US President Donald Trump on Friday lashed out at a journalist who asked him if he would concede defeat if the electoral college certifies his rival Joe Biden as the President. Before calling the journalist ‘lightweight’, Trump added that he should not speak to him in that manner.

During the press conference, Donald Trump said, “It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know that there has been massive fraud. So as to whether or not I could get this apparatus moving this quickly because time is not on our side.”

Accusing the media of fraud during the recent US elections, he added, “Everything else is on our side. The facts are on our side. This was a massive fraud between you people.”

When a journalist tried to counter question Trump while interrupting him, the Commander-in-Chief of the United States snapped and said, “Don’t talk to me that way — you’re just a lightweight. Don’t talk to me that way. I am the President of the United States, don’t ever talk to the President that way.”

‘Calling vote unfair doesn’t make it so’: Court tells Donald Trump

Earlier in the day, a federal appeals court flatly dismissed Donald Trump’s claim that the election was unfair and refused to freeze Joe Biden’s win in the key state of Pennsylvania.

In a scathing review of the Trump campaign’s arguments that the president was cheated in his November 3 re-election bid, three appeals court judges unanimously said that allegations of unfairness were not supported by evidence.

“Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so,” the court said.

In appealing a lower court ruling, the Trump campaign claimed discrimination, the judges noted. “But its alchemy cannot transmute lead into gold,” the court said.

It was the latest in more than two dozen court defeats around the country for the Trump campaign and Republicans who have alleged fraud and other misconduct contributed to the president’s loss.

Trump persists in arguing that Biden’s clear victory is invalid. “Just so you understand, this election was a fraud,” he told reporters on Thursday.
