Former Indian captain, MS Dhoni has released the first look of his graphic novel, ‘Atharva: The Rise’. He released the same on his Facebook Page and wrote “Happy to announce my new Avatar…..Atharva….,”. The graphic novel/web series appears to be a sci-fi mythological thriller.

This “new age graphic novel”, `Atharva: The Origin` is an adaptation of debutant author Ramesh Thamilmani`s unpublished book of the same name. In the trailer, Dhoni is seen battling demons is a rugged mythological look.
The upcoming series is backed by Dhoni Entertainment, the media company that was founded by Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni in 2019.
Though fans loved to see the biopic based on Dhoni, released in 2016, the graphic novel is a move that is arousing a lot of sentiments amongst his fans.
Dhoni is currently brainstorming with the CSK to build a good squad for the future. The IPL 2022 mega auction takes place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13 and it appears that Captain Cool will be attending the auction with the Chennai Table.
