Prabhas’ big-budget movie has surrounded itself with an accusation, as it is said to be copied from a 2008 French film Largo Winch. Soon after the movie released, people on Twitter pointed out the similarities between both the movies.
Is Saaho copied?
The movie Saaho made a whooping 200 crore within 2 days and is expected to collect more in coming days. However, Saaho has been criticized for cloning a Hollywood movie directed by Jerome Salle.
Twitter users tagged him in posts pointing out the resemblance. A user tweeted tagging Mr. Salle, “Buddy another day and another free make of your Largo Winch movie in India. You are the real Guruji.”

In a response tweet, Mr. Salle tweeted “I think I have a promising career in India,” Salle wrote
I think I have a promising career in India. https://t.co/XAiERdgUCF

In a second tweet, he said, “It seems this second “freemake” of Largo Winch is as bad as the first one. So please Telugu directors, if you steal my work, at least do it properly? And as my ‘Indian career’ tweet was, of course, ironic, I’m sorry but I’m not gonna be able to help.”

How accurate is @Jeromesalle claim? If it's based on the plot then the #largowinch plot was there in atleast 100 Indian movies released since 60s. Yet to see Largo Winch however! This is 4th instance of alleged Plagiarism in #Saaho . Could there be smoke without fire? https://t.co/uIB4tBpe7s

@Jerome_Salle Hi sir, #Saaho, The biggest action thriller of India, has the plot which is directly lifted from your film "Largo Winch". This is the second time you are facing this plagiarism after #Agnyaathavaasi. What's your take on this sir? pic.twitter.com/V7ZLLOjWKP

First of all we don't have any idea about ur movie and also by seeing imdb rating its same as sahoo as if now so if it is really copied or etc……be happy that soon ur movie is really going to be popular again and might also change your imdb rating too…✌✌ #sahoo
It's become a big fashion saying any movie with similar contrast as a copy.
I have watched one of your movies and decided not to watch another – Such a Shit moviemaker

Is #Saaho a copied Film?
I think it is inspired from a french film named 'largo winch 2'.
They both have similar storyline. If anyone think I'm lying just watch the movie then do any comment. But #saaho never bought the copyright.
