Civil services examination of India is one of the toughest in the world and each year lakhs of students attempt the examination and only a few in hundreds are actually able to make it. The competition is so high that many cities in UP and Bihar has been reserved as a hub for aspirants to pursue their dreams like Kota for IIT preparation. But this time the dedication level of students is seen at its best where a railway station is changed into a coaching institute.
Sasaram Railway Station Is Now A Coaching Class
Sasaram railway station in Bihar has become a knowledge hub as thousands of students use it as a coaching centre for clearing their competitive exams. Sasaram, a city in Bihar is well known for its railway junction. That is because both platforms 1 and 2 of the railway station turn into a coaching class for young people who are aspirants for civil services.
For two hours every morning and evening, both the platforms 1 and 2 of the railway station turn into a coaching class for young people who are aspirants for the Civil Services.
Excellent Initiative.??

Every day for two hours in the morning and in the evening the sessions are conducted for civil services coaching and this has been followed since 2002-2003 after a small group of students started coming to the station for study. After this, aspirants made this junction a hub to study and for coaching as well.
Highly Motivated Youths
The reason students come to this junction is that this station has electricity 24/7 and because small cities in India face severe power crisis, this is a viable option. Most of the students who come here to study hail from very humble backgrounds where they are unable to access sources and avail basic amenities, for them this station has proved to be a haven to study.
Now the Sasaram railway station study groups have become an institution. Senior students — both those who have been successful and those who have not — come to the station to coach younger boys in what has become a ritual over the years.

The station doesn’t just cater to civil services aspirants, students preparing for The Indian Administrative Service, multiple bank examinations, even IITs and IIMs study here. Senior students even give coaching to juniors. Today the station has acknowledged its role in shaping careers and has actually issued 500 identity cards to the boys to enable them to come. This Is just pure dedication and a great initiative by the authorities.
