About the Incident: On September 11, 2001, the Islamic Terrorist group, al-Quaeda in association with 19 militants hijacked four airplanes and carried out the brutal suicide attacks. Two of the planes were made to hit the twin towers of the World Trade Center in the New York City. A third plane hit the Pentagon outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth one crashed in a field in Pensylvania. It is said that 3000+ people were killed during the attacks, which eventually stimulated major U.S initiatives to counter terrorism and illustrated the presidency of George W. Bush.
