The death of the 34-year-old Sushant Singh Rajput has become a mystery as many institutions and celebrities have chipped in with their emotions and perspective.
Even as the Mumbai Police have confirmed that the cause of death is asphyxia due to hanging, there has been a lot of speculation around his death. Many politicians from across the political spectrum have demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter as they have alleged it to be a murder.
Now, Ex-RAW officer NK Sood has come out and claimed that the death of Sushant Singh Rajput has been murdered by the members of the Dawood Ibrahim gang. Sood recorded a video where he has claimed this without any evidence. He alleged that Dawood Ibrahim’s gang had threatened Sushant over the phone which led to the mental illness of the actor. He also went onto say that Sushant’s close aides were also involved in the planned murder.
According to him, the CCTV cameras were turned off just before his death which points towards a preplanned murder. He claimed that Sushant had changed his phone number over 50 times in order to avoid threats from Dawood. He also said that Sushant would sleep in his car.
Police Give Assurance
The Deputy Commissioner of Mumbai Police Abhishek Trimukhe earlier said,
“The Police have been looking at every possible angle for reasons of Sushant Singh’s suicide. If anything is discovered in the investigation, the Police will surely let you know. I want to appeal to everyone through this medium that a lot of speculations have been circulating about his case on social media. I assure all of you that Mumbai Police has been handling a case as sensitive as this one with the utmost professionalism. You have to trust the police to bring forth the truth in this case.”
