The Enforcement Directorate has reportedly filed a money laundering case against Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty after Sushant’s father filed a complaint against her.
As per the reports, the money laundering case has been registered not only against Rhea but also against her relatives who have been rumored to have a connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The Enforcement Directorate filed the case after it accessed a copy of the First Investigation Report that was filed by the Bihar Police. An unidentified Enforcement Directorate official spoke to India Today and said,
“After going through the details, we have lodged the case. In the coming days, Rhea, along with others, will be summoned for questioning.”
The deputy chief minister of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi took to Twitter to launch fresh allegations against Mumbai police. He wrote,
“Mumbai police are putting obstruction in way of fair investigation by Bihar police in Sushant death case. Bihar Police is doing its best but Mumbai police are not co-operating. BJP feels that CBI should take over this issue.”
Servants Allegation
The investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is taking unexpected twists day after day. In a new twist, the former servant of Sushant Singh Rajput has said that Rhea Chakraborty fired him.
As per a report by the media outlet Times Now, one of the servants who was working with Sushant Singh Rajput in his Versova house has told the Bihar police that ever since Rhea came into his life, the expenses of Sushant shot up drastically. The servant claimed to have been handling the expenses of the actor but when Rhea entered his life, she questioned him for using the money and shunned him away.
He was once visiting his village for some personal reasons after which he was not allowed to resume later. The report by Times Now also suggests that the entire staff of Sushant was changed just three months prior to his death. The servants have also alleged that Sushant was refrained from helping them by Rhea Chakraborty.
