As RCB’s Game Has Come To An End, Vijay Mallya Has Made A Very Important Statement About Kohli And Co.

One loss after another and before Royal Challengers Bangalore could know, their season was over even before it began. Few teams can recover after losing their first six games and so it was with Virat Kohli and Co., but not every time. Getting eliminated in the league stage yet again is never a nice feeling.

However, Royal Challengers Bangalore finished their IPL 2019 campaign on a good note as they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad convincingly in their final league match at the Chinnaswamy stadium last Saturday. Now it seems Vijay Mallya has a special message for Virat Kohli-led RCB’s dismal from IPL 2019 campaign.

Liquor baron king who bought RCB

During the beginning of IPL, Vijay Mallya was the one who had bought the franchise in 2008 and named it Royal Challengers Bangalore. Since then, Mallya has gone through many hurdles in his life. He was not in India, yet he watched RCB play and supported them as well.

After the poor performance in 2019 IPL edition, Mallya took to his social media and expressed what he felt about the RCB team. He felt that they have always been a strong team, but unfortunately only on paper.

Mr. Mallya tweeted, “Always a great line up but sadly on paper only. Devastated with the wooden spoon.”

Vijay Mallya’s Reaction

His tweet came after Kohli posted an emotional message for the RCB fans for their support in a heartwarming way. Earlier in the season, RCB had lost their first six games on the trot which was a big setback for them right at the start.

Just after a few hours later, Vijay Mallya shared Kohli’s Instagram post on his Twitter page and wrote: “Always a great line up but sadly on paper only. Devastated with the wooden spoon.”
