Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has announced that he tested positive for COVID-19. He is currently receiving treatment at the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

A few hours ago, news came out that Amitabh Bachchan had been admitted to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. However, there were no reports regarding the reason for admission. A few minutes later, Big B himself, through his Twitter account, announced the news to his fans and the public.

In his tweet, Big B wrote: “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff underwent tests, results awaited ..All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!

It was only a few days ago that Amitabh Bachchan had posted a happy picture of himself alongside his grandson. On the work front, Amitabh was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo. He featured alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in the movie. The legendary actor was also set to come back on TV as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

COVID-19 is surely becoming a big problem for authorities in the country. Considering that they remain the most careful, the fact that few celebs are testing positive for the virus shows that people must be extra cautious while stepping out of their houses.
