India’s Unbeaten run in the World Cup

After India put up a mammoth 336/5 batting first, Pakistan’s reply for the total was trembling and indisciplined. In the first 10 overs, Pakistan managed to score only 38/0 which was considered as the lowest powerplay total in the World Cup. Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam looked like taking the fight to India in a partnership worth 104. But on the other side, the Indian bowlers had something else in their mind, they managed to take 4 wickets in the middle over which knocked Pakistan out of the contest.

A short drizzle caused a 40 minutes delay, which made the task much heavier for the neighbors as they had to score 136 runs off 30 balls bb D/L method.

A comfortable 89-run victory over Pakistan in England earned team India opulent praise from Home Minister Amit Shah and other top leaders. He praised the Men in Blue with a tweet which read “Another strike on Pakistan by team India and the result is the same.”
