Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa flops Big Time in Russia, makers lose ‘crores of money’

Pushpa The Rise starring Allu Arjun premiered in Russian movie theaters on December 8. Box office experts expected the film to generate a good number of collections, as RRR did in Japan. But unfortunately, Sukumar’s directional failed miserably.

Pushpa flops in Russia

Allu Arjun and Sukumar are gearing up to kick-start their work on Pushpa 2 in a full-fledged way. Amid all the excitement and anticipation, the first part was recently released in Russia. And shockingly, it is said to turn into a major flop at the box office, leaving makers with financial misery.

For the unversed, Pushpa: The Rise was released in Russia on 8th December. Before the film’s release, Allu and the entire team traveled to Russia and carried out heavy promotions. Even Rashmika Mandanna joined them in different promotional activities. Despite all the radio interviews, TV interviews, and much more, the film has reportedly failed.

Crores of money lost

The people of Russia cared little despite the Pushpa team promoting their film. The producers have spent 3 crores for the Promotions and dubbing and hardly anything has recovered for the producers and the total amount is a loss for them, reported

Shockingly, they took the movie out of the theaters within the first three days because of the bad numbers. Also, the Pushpa unit, which went on so far with the promotions before the release, is now quiet because of the poor Pushpa Box office collections in Russia.

And it’s mainly because even after two weeks after release, there’s no official update from the team about the reception and response of the film in Russia. Seeing this, everyone is getting a feeling that Pushpa the rise is a tragic failure in Russia.
