Sushant Singh Rajput was only 34 when he was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The actor’s death is now being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Apart from the actor’s death being probed, nepotism, favouritism, insider v/s outsider debate has also been looming over the film industry. Moreover, numerous celebs have also been called out for being “rude” to outsiders in the industry and procuring contraband substances.
Akshay Kumar, probably one of the only celebs to open up about all the allegations against the Hindi film industry shared a video message for all his fans and the media a couple of minutes ago. In the said video, Akshay goes on to speak about Ssushant’s untimely demise, NCB’s drug probe in Bollywood, and the media trial.
Akshay began by saying that he has been wanting to say a lot of things but has refrained to do so due to the “negativity” around him. He further states that the film industry has broached upon every subject including poverty, corruption, unemployment, which has been depicted on the big screen. He then adds, “Sushant Singh Rajput ki sudden death ki baad se aise bahut issues samne aaye hai jisne hume bhi utna hi dard diya haim jitna aapko.”
Speaking about the ongoing NCB probe in Bollywood, Khiladi Kumar then said that the involvement of drugs is probably prevalent in every industry, but that doesn’t mean that every person in the industry consumes or procurers it. In a short address to the media coverage, Akshay urges them to continue their reportage but show a little sensitivity.
Akshay shared this message on social media and captioned his post as “Bahot dino se mann mein kuch baat thi lekin samajh nahi aa raha tha kya kahoon, kisse kahoon. Aaj socha aap logon se share kar loon, so here goes…#DirectDilSe”
The actor recently returned to Mumbai after shooting for his next project, Bell Bottom along with Vaani Kapoor.
