Prabhas’s upcoming pan-India film Salaar, directed by KGF-fame Prasanth Neel, is reportedly a two-parter. A Kannada actor reportedly confirmed that the makers have already planned a sequel for the mass action saga.
Salaar will have 2 parts
Salaar, a pan-India action film starring Prabhas, is one of the year’s most anticipated releases. Prasanth Neel of KGF fame is directing the film, and much has been speculated about its plot, release date, and cast. One thing has now been established. Salaar, as previously speculated, will be released in two parts, which Neel previously dismissed.
Salaar is a Telugu film that also stars Shruthi Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu. Several other actors from various film industries are also playing supporting roles in the mega-budget film. Devaraj, a Kannada actor, is one of them. In a recent interview with Suman TV, the actor revealed lots about the film.
When asked if he was appearing in a Telugu film anytime soon, the actor named Salaar. As the interviewer asked him to reveal some details about his character, Devaraj said in Telugu, “I cannot say much about my character right now. But not much will be revealed in the first part. There is more of me in the second part.”

This seems to confirm that Salaar is a two-parter. Previously, Prasanth Neel responded to such reports by saying that if the film is a two-parter, it will be announced when the time comes. He did not, however, confirm or deny it.
“I have got many combination scenes with Prabhas,” Devaraj was quoted as saying. Moreover, the actor also confirmed that he also has scenes with Jagapahthi Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Though there have been no official statements from the makers regarding the sequel, the report has piqued the interest of fans.
Salaar and KGF crossover
According to the latest reports, Neel and Prabhas are filming the Salaar finale in Italy, and Yash has reportedly joined them. The Cameo of Yash will definitely heighten the joys of movie lovers. Moreover, if the latest buzz of crossovers of Salaar and KGF is anything to go by, it would elevate the craze to an unmatched level.
Also, some scenes from the action-packed film were shot in Matera, an ancient southern Italian town known for its prehistoric whitewashed caves, in mid-March. It is the same location where the James Bond film “No Time to Die” was filmed. Variety reported that the producers planned to relocate to Naples to film in the southern port city’s central Piazza del Plebiscito square. The film will also be shot in Rome and Budapest.
Salaar is expected to be one of the year’s biggest films, with a Rs 200-crore budget and a reported wide release. The film also stars Madhu Guruswamy, Easwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy. Apart from Telugu, it will be released in dubbed Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions as well. Salaar is set to release in theatres on September 28.
