Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi

This action thriller was way ahead of its time, from having The Undertaker in a Bollywood film to having a lead villain in the form of Maya Memsaab and the sizzling chemistry between Rekha and Akshay Kumar. A man searching for his missing brother finds himself in an unsavory world of illegal wrestling matches, a scorned love, and a venomous obsessed lover. The plot is ideal for someone to tell us that Maya survived and is back for revenge 2.0.

Mohra

This 1994 action film starred Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and Akshay Kumar and is best known for the iconic song Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast. When a journalist assists a convict in his release from prison, he quickly realizes that he is paying the price for his freedom by acting as a pawn for another man. Back in the 90s, this movie featured a lot of intense drama among their characters, and it would be interesting to see what a sequel to this would look like!

Ghatak

Rajkumar Santoshi has done an excellent job with this action thriller starring Sunny Deol and Meenakshi Seshadri. It was one of the year’s highest-grossing films in 1996, and it follows the protagonist Kashi on his quest to defeat Katya’s evil. It will be interesting to see Sunny’s “dhai kilo ka haath” in Kashi’s character once more.

Main Khiladi Tu Anari

There is nothing better than a classic action film with loads of humor. The film featured some excellent scenes, terrific action, and the strong on-screen chemistry between Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. Someone should pair them up; we’d love to see some bromance in 2023.

Cheetah

Mithun Da was in a class of his own in the 1990s. Cheetah is the story of Amar, an honest inspector whose family is murdered by a gangster. While everyone believes Amar is in a coma, he awakens to avenge the injustice done to him. Anyone who enjoys “Masala” movies will find it to be the ideal action movie. Hope someone makes a sequel.
