Dil Raju to produce a film with Prabhas
It was previously reported that Telugu star Prabhas and KGF director Prashanth Neel would collaborate again after Salaar. It was also reported that the film, which is being produced by Dil Raju, is tentatively titled Ravanam. The producer has now confirmed the news.
Dil Raju told Pinkvilla that Prabhas and Prashant will collaborate on a mythical film after Salaar, which will be the most expensive film ever made in Telugu.
When asked if it’s mythology, Dil Raju told Pinkvilla, “Yes, Prashanth Neel has finalized a script and we are planning it with Prabhas. The two are already working together on Salaar. After Salaar, Prashanth has a commitment with NTR, so maybe post the NTR film, Prashanth will commence work on this project. It’s in the discussion stage now.”
Salaar Teaser
Meanwhile, Salaar’s production is in full swing, and the filmmakers are ready with the film’s teaser, which is set to be released in a few weeks. In addition to Prabhas, the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. Ravi Basrur, who composed the music for KGF, has also scored Salaar.
“The cut for the teaser is ready and it’s all about unveiling that at the right time. It may come before or immediately after the release of Adipurush in June. The teaser will blow away everyone’s mind,” revealed a source close to the film.
In addition to Salaar, Prabhas also has Project K in his portfolio. Nag Ashwin is the film’s director, and it stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. It takes place in a futuristic timeline with the Third World War as its backdrop. Recently, the makers released a behind-the-scenes video, which showed the amount of work that’s going into the production of the movie. Nevertheless, further updates of Prabhas’ films will be unveiled only after the release of Adipurush, which is set to be released on June 16.
