Actor Salman Khan, who celebrated his 57th birthday on Tuesday, had once spoken about wanting children. In an old interview, the ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ actor had said that he wants children but doesn’t ‘want the mother’.
In a video that is now going viral on social media, Salman reacted to a question that asked him about his interest in children. The actor had said, “(Smiles) I want children, but with children comes the mother. I don’t want the mother, but they need one. But I have a whole village to take care of them. Maybe I can work out a win-win situation for everyone.”

While Salman still remains one of the most qualified bachelors in Bollywood, he has dated several women in the past. The 57-year-old has been in relationships with several people over the years. He reportedly dated former actor Somy Ali from 1991 to 1999. Salman was also reported to be in relationships with model Sangeeta Bijlani, and actors Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif. On the work front, Salman Khan completed the shooting schedule for his upcoming Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Helmed by Farhad Samji, it also stars Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh Daggubati in key roles. The actor will also be seen in Tiger 3, also starring Katrina Kaif. The action-packed movie was earlier slated to hit the theatres on April 23, 2023, but will now be released on Diwali next year.
