Vikram’s Response Towards Boycott Trend Is Surely Something Vijay Deverakonda Needs To Learn

Tamil actor Vikram, who is now promoting his upcoming movie Cobra, has responded to the ongoing Boycott culture. His response to the question is surely something that Vijay Deverakonda needs to see.

Vikram’s take on the Boycott trend

Vikram, who is now promoting Cobra, is gearing up for his film’s theatrical release on August 31st in Tamil and Telugu languages simultaneously. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film also stars Srinidhi Shetty and Mrinalini Ravi as the female lead.

While promoting his film in Telugu belts, Vikram came to Hyderabad to interact with the media. In his conversation, when he was asked about the ongoing Boycott trend on social media platforms, he replied, “I know about the boy. I know about the cot. What is this Boycott? I don’t know the word. I know nothing except for Cobra.”

Vikram’s sensible answer is winning the internet. This is probably a great lesson for some young celebrities on how a situation should be addressed and not talk about something they are not related to.

Recently stars like Vijay Deverakonda, Alia Bhatt, and Kareena Kapoor made provocative statements about the latest boycott trend. Instead of passing a neutral statement, these superstars chose to make an overconfident statement and provoked the people behind these vicious boycott trends.

Later, the above-mentioned superstar’s films came crashing down in the Box Office run.

What Vijay Deverakonda said

Ahead of Liger’s release, Deverakonda received backlash for putting his feet up on a table while interacting with the media at a recent event. Asked to comment on these disputes, the actor said he has no reason to be scared of anything.

“I talk less like an actor, more like Vijay Deverakonda. I have been an actor for the past five-six years only. If I say something and someone doesn’t like it, then we will talk about it. So I said what I thought and I believe there is nothing to be scared of. I wasn’t scared when I had nothing. Now I have so much, then why should I be scared? I have my mother’s blessing, people’s love, god, and fire inside me, so whatever happens, I will see to it,” the actor said.

When asked about the wrong things being spread around the film industry of late, he replied “If life has ever taught me anything, then it is to fight for myself. Whether I was a kid or an adult, I had to fight for money and respect. I had to fight to be born in this world. I had to fight for work. Every film was a battle. Today, I’m making a film for India and so there will be a little bit of drama. So I will continue to fight.”

Meanwhile, there are things the Liger actor should learn from Vikram. Talks with the media should only be circled around the film and not about what’s happening on social media or in the world, which has no connection whatsoever with the film.

Cobra is an action-thriller that features Vikram in nearly 20 different striking avatars. The cast includes KGF actress Srinidhi Shetty, Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, and Mirnalini Ravi among others. Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan plays the antagonist in Cobra, which marks his acting debut. The biggie has reportedly been shot on a budget of Rs 90 crore. It will be distributed by Red Giant Movies, the banner behind films such as the Ajith Kumar-led Mankatha and Sivakarthikeyan’s Don
