Australian women’s cricket team continues their winning streak and emerges victorious in the final of the Commonwealth Games 2022, Birmingham, defeating India by a thin margin of 9 runs.
India’s maiden CWG medal

Praising the women’s team’s performance Prime Narendra Modi too took to Twitter and wrote, “Cricket and India are inseparable. Our Women’s cricket team played excellent cricket through the CWG and they bring home the prestigious Silver medal. Being the first ever CWG medal in cricket, this one will always be special. Best wishes to all team members for a bright future.”

This loss, like so many of the previous instances, is also on the BCCI. No women's IPL despite repeated calls from the players too. Till you prepare them to be in such situations, again and again, these results will not change.

This Australian women's team hasn't lost a T20I for 495 days. #AUSvIND #B2022

India aren't chokers. How can you know how to handle, and dominate, situations like this when the only opportunities you get to test yourself are literally major international tournament finals? The only chokers are the lads in the boardroom. #AUSvIND https://t.co/WytPE8HWpx

Congratulations Australia.
What hurts most is that India could have beaten Australia on both occasions and yet lost twice.
It came down to handling pressure.
One team plays a top-notch league at home. The other does not.
